Who We Are

Janautthan is a saving and credit cooperative (SACCOS) based in Tilottama, Rupandehi, Nepal. It is a member-owned financial institution that provides financial services like savings, loans, and other member-based services. It is not a commercial bank, but a community-based cooperative where members pool money and use it for mutual financial support.

Janautthan Saving & Credit Cooperative Ltd. is to build a financially strong, self-reliant, and inclusive community by empowering its members through accessible and reliable financial services. The organization aims to enhance the quality of life of its members by promoting savings, encouraging productive investments, and supporting local economic development. It aims to ensure the proper management and protection of members’ funds, promote financial inclusion without discrimination, and introduce modern, technology-based services for convenience. Through its activities, the cooperative is committed to improving the economic and social well-being of its members and supporting sustainable community development.

The cooperative also aims to improve the living standards of its members through financial inclusion, social welfare programs, and community development activities. Additionally, it focuses on ensuring the safety and proper management of members’ funds, expanding quality financial services, and strengthening a sense of cooperation, self-reliance, and mutual support among members.
